Started throwing darts at age 16 and a year or so later was playing for a few local pub teams with my dad.
Was on/off darts with moving with work, eventually settling in Bristol of 7 years.
Initially got back into my darts in 1997 (age 23) and had a few good years in local pub/club sides.
Any guys from 'The 3 Brooks' or 'Little Stoke Social Club' get in touch!!!
But then left the sport with pressure of family life (daughter!), teaching Kung Fu, and generally keeping fit (ran the Bristol half Marathon in 2000 - 1hr 48mins)

Started back with the darts after returning to Liverpool in 2004.
After a marriage seperation I fell into my darts as a way of escaping and after a few years started to get the bug back.
Started more serious practice in late 2007 when I started to have a little more free time after a few years of heavy DIY activity on my bungalow (but DIY projects never really finish lol).......starting to play in Open Tournaments from Jan 2008.

  • Sep 2008 - BDO British Open (1/4 Final Board 16, lost 3-1 in a close game to Mareno Michels who went on to the Semi Final on Setanta TV)
